Chapter 20

The sky filled with fresh sunlight as the two love birds were entwined in their little cozy bundle of warmth. it was a perfect little world even though they weren't married they still felt married. Husband and wife an unbreakable bond two souls that were mated for life. Khushi snuggled close to her love while Arnav had an arm around her and his unborn child keeping them close to him. He watched how comfortable she was in his arms. It baffled him how innocent and child like she looked. Ever since the pregnancy news he had seen Khushi mature from her childish antiques to proper mother. She maybe child like from the surface with her silly cravings and stupid tantrums but from in she was rooted and guarded. Always putting their baby ahead of her just like a true mother would do for her child. This is why he admired her a lot. The urge to kiss her ran through his body and he slowly lifted his head and kissed her smooth fore head. She snuggled closer to him feeling his hard lips on her. He moved back into to position to admire her all over again.

Khushi who had her eyes shut was pretending to sleep but wasnt actually asleep. She was perfectly aware of Arnav's gaze on her. His stare was warm and it embarrassed her a lot. She was trying so hard not to blush. when he kissed her on the forehead she was about to melt which is why she snuggled closer to him to hide her face. But still she could feel his eyes roam all over her sandy skin. Without opening her eyes she said with a blush on her face and a cuteness in her voice 

Khushi: Stop it 

Arnav looked back at the sleeping beauty in his arms with raised eye brows and said

Arnav: Stop what!! 

Khushi: (shifting from his embrace she looked up with him with sleep in her eyes) staring at me!! 

Arnav: (smirked) How do you know I was staring at you, your eyes are closed 

Khushi: (stating the obvious) I dont need my eyes to know that your looking at me. I can feel it 

Arnav: (smirking he said) Is that so 

She nodded with a smile and he chuckled back at her. After a little talk they decided to get up. Khushi had another doctors appointment today was her sonography. Arnav had pushed aside all his meetings and work to be at this appointment it was a very big deal for the both of them. 

Khushi was excited to see the baby. She was waiting for the day to come when the baby would be out and just this glimpse meant a lot to her. Arnav on the other hand was nervous as hell. He had no idea how he would handle this. He was worried because the the span of 4 months so much had happened. Khushi had fainted alot of times she fell once from the stool. Then the stress of Shyam, he was worried what if the baby is damaged. The doctor had always told him that the baby was fine but today they would get a full report of the health. that was nerve wrecking for Arnav to deal with. 

They reached the doctors office. Khushi could see the nervousness on Arnavs face and she could tell that he was really scared. She knew it was something he was not use to dealing. She placed a hand on his and looked up at him with the sweetest smile and said

Khushi: Dont worry, its going to be all fine

Arnav: How can you be so sure of that, since your pregnancy there have been so many incidents that took place in that span. What if something happened to the baby Khushi (he said with worry)

She smiled back at hymn with a loving gaze and held his hand and then put it on her tummy and said

Khushi: Arnavji i agree with you there has been a lot that has happened but i know one thing and so does this little baby of ours. (she paused) You wont let any harm come to us. You will always protect us we know it. every time some one tried to say or do something to our baby you stood in front of it like a  fierce protector. there will be nothing wrong have faith Arnavji (she smiled)

Her words were a soothing balm on his aching and nervous heart. His tensed muscles relaxed and he kissed her hand and said.

Arnav: You really do know how to make me feel better, dont you

Khushi: (smiled back) you also do the same with me dont you

Arnav nodded they were interrupted with by the nurse who came in to call them

Arnav: Okay lets go see our baby

She smiled and he helped her up and they headed to Stellas office, Stella greeted them with a smile she made khushi change into a gown and then she lied down and lifted it. Arnav came in and held her hand during the process

Stella: So how are you Khushi

Khushi: I am good (she smiled)

Stella: Okay so today is your sonography, this will show us the health of the baby, its size, it will be able to listen to your child's heart beat. (she paused and then said) and the determine the sex of the baby.

There was a short pause in the room and then both Arnav and Khushi looked at each other and Arnav said

Arnav: Dont tell us the sex, we want to keep it a mystery

Khushi: (nodded with a smile) yes Doctor we would rather we know the day of the birth

Stella smiled at the couple. Arnav held Khushi's hand tightly and then Stella applied the gel on her tummy and with the help of the machine the image of Khushi's stomach was shown on the monitor adjacent  to them and suddenly they could hear a heart beat. Both the parents looked at each other with smiles on their face, glow in their eyes and stella said

Stella: Thats your babies heart beat. (she blushed as she saw the much in love couple)

Arnav: how is the babies health

Stella: the baby is fine Arnav it is fit as a fiddle (then she looked at the monitor and pointed a the monitor) thats your baby

Khushi was over joyed the baby looked so cute, even though it was only shown in black and white she still thought it was cute.

Arnav was also thrilled their child was okay, he was a bit at ease. He bent forward and kissed khsuhi on the fore head and said with a smile

Arnav: Thank you this is the best thing i have ever seen.

Khushi: (smiled) Oh Arnavji i am so happy this is happening and to with you.

Stella: so to sum it up your baby is perfectly fine and your pregnancy doesn't seem to show any complications. Just follow your diet and eat well and take care Khushi

Khushi: Yes doctor thank you so much

Stella smiled after that she wrote some more medicines to take and then the two of them left from the clinic. Both Arnav and Khushi felt as if they were on top of the world.

Chapter 19

It was a rainy Saturday morning, Arnav and Khushi were still cuddled in bed fast asleep in a warm bundle. It felt so good to be in each others arms after the confession. She snuggled closer to him making him hold her tight at the same time he did not apply pressure on her so the baby would be safe. he held her to his heart she had gone to sleep listening to his heart beat.Arnav had his eyes shut but he was still awake. He was caressing her back and she was trying her hardest not to laugh... He was finding this so funny. She look so cute trying to put on a straight face for him so she didnt look so week. Finally she gave up and looked up at him and said

Khushi: Arnavji dont it tickles me 

Arnav: What the (he said pretending not to know) what did I do, I am sleeping 

khuhsi: (she put on a cute angry face and said) Arnavji your caressing my back and thats tickling me 

Arnav: What I am not even touching you, you must be dreaming 

Khushi: Oh really (she said sitting up on the bed)

Arnav: (he sat up too) Yeah Really 

Khushi: yeah why would you caress my back only lovers do that, and you dont love me (she said looking down) 

Arnav: (knew exactly what she was doing and so he played along) yeah your right i dont love you 

Khushi: (eyes flew up to him and she said in shock) What you dont love me 

Arnav: What do you think (he said raising his eye brows) 

Khushi: I dont know 

Arnav: I told you last night that I love you didnt I 

Khushi: Yes you did (she said with her eyes down) Its just that i am scared what if.... (she stopped half way) 

Arnav: (lifted her chin and then said to her) Have faith in me Khushi I am there for you always. I know your worried that we are not married but just trust me okay

Khushi : (she looked up at him and said) Oh no Arnavji I have full faith in you, I am not worried thatr we are not married, I mean I was but I now realize that you are not married to me because there is something about marriage that bothers you and in your own time i feel you will figure that out. 

Arnav was stunned at how she understood, never really spoke to her about it but still she understood so well, She was amazing, but then what was bothering her he wondered. so he asked 

Arnav: What is it that is bothering you then 

Khushi: Arnavji (she held his hand in hers and said) I am scared i worry sometimes is this real, is this happening... Our love for each other I am not as good as Sheetal or any other girl you have ever been with I am just plain simple Khushi, A middle class girl thats all... I get scared how will I fit in this world of yours. I am just so ordinary you different from me. You come from a different background what if I cant live up to your expectations what if I cant give our child the values that teach her to live in this rich society of yours/ Will he or she live like a middle class person I dont know Arnavji I am scared thats why I wonder how you and I are together, we are so different. (she said softly

Arnav listen to her quietly and heard every word of what she was saying and when she was done, he held her hand tighter and said 

Arnav: I dont care if your like Sheetal or lavaya or any one else, What matters to me is you. You matter to me I love you just the way you are. The sweet kind hearted helpful bubbly girl that you are. Khushi what matters to me is that i am with some one like you who I know will never leave me no matter what. I know you I know you will always stand by me forever and thats what I love about you. thats what makes you different from those girls that you love with all your heart. You dont love me for my name or my status but you love me for me. I want to do nothing more than love you for who you are. I promise whatever happens I will never leave you and dont you be scared with what values our child will have because I know you will be an excellent mother and our child will be a clean and pure person by heart because you will teach it to be that way. 

He kissed her hand and then pulled her in close, both of them hugged each other tightly

Chapter 18

Arnav was angry, he could understand what the hell was wrong with her, how does it matter if he confesses or not, She already knows he loves her a lot. so what was all the fuss about he wondered. Was it her hormones he wondered, in the mean time he got a call from his sister Anjili. Arnav picked up the phone

Arnav: Hi di

Anjili: hi chatty how are you, hows is the baby and Khushiji

Arnav: I am fine and so is the baby, Khushi i am not so sure

Anjili: why what happened, Chottey you didn't shout at her again did you

Arnav: No in fact she shouted at me,

Anjili: (chuckled) What did you do

Arnav: Nothing, she insists I should tell her that I love her, and I think its stupid

Anjili: Chottey why do you think its stupid, I think its cute, you do love her dont you

Arnav: Off course I do di, I wouldn't just have a baby with any one, I love her with all my heart

Anjili: so whats the problem then tell her

Arnav: Why do i have to tell her, she should know that

Anjili: she does know that, but sometimes we women like to hear it from our men. and the same with khushiji. CHottey the first time you must have said I LOVE YOU she must be so happy na. dont you want to see that happiness again on her face

Arnav: Di i have never really told her

Anjili: WHAT THE

Arnav: DI, your over reacting its probably her pregnancy hormones thats all

Anjili: all the more reason why you should tell her, she needs you and so does the baby, CHottey you have to make her happy or else her health will be affected

Arnav: Ugh Di you women are impossible (he said cutting the phone)

Anjili chuckled the other side of the world at her brother.

Meanwhile it was night Khushi had her dinner and she was sitting by the pool side with her legs dipped in the pool as she looked at her tummy and said with a sad voice

Khushi: Nobody loves me

Arnav who was behind her rolled his legs and dipped them into the cool blue water and then said in a husky voice

Arnav: Thats not true

Khushi (looked back at him with tears in her eyes.) Dont talk to me

Arnav: (raised an eye brow) If I can't talk to you then how can I tell you

Khushi: (instantly turned her attention to him, with a spark she said) tell me what

Arnav: (caressed her face with his hands softly) that I love you

Khushi: (a smile played on her lips as she held his hand tightly and said) What did you say

Arnav: (smiled) I said I LOVE YOU

Khushi's heart started to beat faster and faster as she looked at him blushing she said with a smile

Khushi: Arnavji I LOVE YOU TOO

She wrapped her arms around his waist and he pulled her into a tight hug. The stars shone brightly as the two lovers sat by the pool in each others embrace. Khushi looked up at the man who she adored the most and said

Khushi: You dont know how happy i am today Arnavji

Arnav: Wow I had no idea these three words with make you so happy, Khushi

Khushi: It has made me very happy, so happy that i feel that i am on the stars right now, our little one is also so happy (she took his hand and placed it on her tummy and said) See

Arnav could feel the baby kick, it seemed so playful, it was kicking like crazy. Arnav smiled and chuckled

Arnav: Yeah I can see the baby is super happy. Khushi but on a serious note, I do love you, I always have and I always will.

Khushi: (hugged him back) I love you too my handsome prince (she dug herself in his chest)

Arnav: (looked down and her smirking) What did you say

Khushi: (blushing she said) Sorry it just came out. (she bit her lip)

Arnav: Woman you have got to stop saying sorry for every small thing, its okay, with you everything is okay and I really liked what you said. (he paused and then said) Do you really think i am a handsome prince

Khushi: (blushing) Yes I do Arnavji your a handsome prince, but your only mine (she clung to him)

Arnav: well then that makes you a princess doesn't it (he said with a smirk)

Khushi and he started to chuckled under the moonlight,  as he leaned forward and pulled her into a mouth warming kiss, marking the confession of their true love. The night was absolutely perfect.

Chapter 17

Khushi was walking across the sea line as the waves crashed on her feet she was angry and irritated the nerve of that silly girl how dare she touch her Arnavji. Arnav may have what ever flings in the past but now he has changed he was different. He was only hers. She looked at their baby and said in a sulky voice.

Khushi: Do you think what i did was wrong... (she paused and then said) I know he will be angry i called him my husband, he doesn't believe in marriage and here i am i called him my husband but, what was i suppose to do. I dont like any one else claiming him he is mine (she cribbed) But he is going to get angry i know that

She walked away sad and upset, meanwhile Arnav walked unto her, he placed a had on her shoulder and she turned around her eyes downward she could barely see the floor because of her belly. Arnav smirked he knew she was scared of his reaction to the wife thing. He slowly lifted her chin upwards and she looked up at him. Her eyes full of fright she didn't know what to say, all her anger turned to nervousness. There was silence between them, Khushi had no idea what to say she could not stand there silent it was killing her so she took a deep breath and then said in a one go

Khushi: Arnavji i am sorry i called you my husband, i know your not my husband but still i said you are. I only did it because I had to, I had so much anger inside me (she said in a fat pace)

Arnav: (trying hard to control he kept a straight face) Why dd you have to say something

Khushi: (nervous she bit her lip) because i had to

Arnav: But why

Khsuhi: (turning around she said irritated) I dont know I had to

Arnav: (turned her back) Okay but there must be some reason you did it

Khushi: (irritated) because i cant see any one else claim you

Arnav: (pulled her close) and why so

Khushi: because your mine, Arnavji your my babies daddy and we are a family and i can't see anyone destroy that. (she said pouting her lips)

Arnav: (had a faint smile on his face seeing her like that) hmm so you could have said we are having a baby why wife (he said in a teasing voice)

Khushi: (biting her lip) because I just had to that just shows that your mine.  i am sorry Arnavji please forgive me. I shouldn't have said that, I shouldn't have said that (she started to cry)

Arnav: (wiped her tears and then said) Shh its okay (he took her into a protective hug) I was only messing with you (he wrapped his arms around her petite figure) Come here

Khushi dug into him and held him tightly the waves were still crashing on their feet, then she looked up at him and said

Khushi: Your not angry

Arnav: off course not, why would i be angry, I know how you feel for me and i feel the same for you

Khushi: if that is the case then why dont you say it (she moved away from him)

Arnav: Say what (he raised his eye brows)

Khushi: that you love me

Arnav: why should i say it when you know it

Khushi: I want to hear it (she insisted)

Arnav: Khushi its no big deal just come here (he gestured her)

Khushi: No not until you tell me and confess to me, that you love me

Arnav: (irritated) Khushi your acting childish

Khushi: How so

Arnav: come on whats the big deal

Khushi: it is Arnavji i want to hear it, I want you to tell me that you love me, I want to feel that special

Arnav: You are special Khushi for me your the most special one

Khushi: Then say it

Arnav: No why do I have to say it

Khushi: Fine then dont say it, Me and my baby are going to the room and we will be there only, we dont want to talk to you until you dont tell us

She said angry turning to her heals leaving Arnav standing there all confused.

Chapter 16

They just finished having some dinner Arnav got off the phone to get an update with the commissioner who told him that there were two police men assigned to protect Khushi and the baby. Khushi on the other hand was taking out her clothes to go change... When she came out of the room she saw him sitting on the bed . He smiled at her and she smiled back and then he said in a soft voice

Arnav: Khushi I think you should sleep now its 2 am and its late you need rest and so does the baby

Khushi nodded and she got into the opposite side of the bed and shut the light on her side... Arnav was still up working.. She tossed and turned away trying to get sleep but she just couldnt something was not right... She couldnt feel that warmth... She got up from the bed and sat on the bed looking irritated.. Arnav looked up at her and asked

Arnav: What happened you didn't sleep

Khushi: I can't get sleep (she said irritated) I am feeling cold... Arnavji something is not right

Arnav: (raising his eye brows he asked) Whats not right (he caressed her face)

Khushi: I dont know (she said irritated) I am going out to get a glass of milk may be that will make me sleep

Arnav nodded and she went out to get herself some milk from the fridge... By the time she came back she saw Arenav packing her laptop and putting it away... he saw her and asked

Arnav: Are you feeling better

Khushi: I dont know (she said confused) I hope I get some sleep

She slipped into bed once more and he got into bed as well. He saw her struggle on her pillow and he slowly opened his arms and said in an inviting husky voice

Arnav: Come

She instantly went towards him and tucked her head on his chest he wrapped his strong protective arms around her and she shut her eyes... Arnav looked down to see how she was doing and he could see she was already comfortable... He kissed her forehead and switched off the lights and then Khushi said with her eyes shut

Khushi: I was missing this

Arnav: What ??

Khushi: your arms wrapped around me and the baby (she shifted her head more into him) It makes me feel safe and warm...

Arnav smirked but didn't say much.. He tightened his hold on her and that was more than enough for Khushi to know that he loved to hold her too...

The night passed by good for both of them and when morning came they were up early. Arnav ordered some breakfast for Khsuhi and himself they had to follow the diet that the doctor has prescribed for Khushi so keeping that in mind she had to always be fed well... It was around 1 when Khushi came up to him and said in a sweet tone

Khushi: Can we go out

Arnav: Where do you want to go (he asked her)

Khushi: Anywhere I just want to get out of this room I am tired of being here Arnavji

Arnav: Hmm (he nodded) Ok get ready I hear that this hotel has a huge beach and it is suppose to be the best so where something in cotton.. We can go there for a bit

Khsuhi: Perfect (she smiled)

She changed into a pretty royal blue long beach dress and he wore his white shirt and jeans.. They went towards the beach.. Khushi had a radiant smile on her face she was happy to be out.. The fresh wind the sea waves the soft sand that played with their legs she was happy to be out after a long time it became a change for her... Arnav was happy to see her happy... It was important for him to keep her this way always... They were walking on the beach when suddenly Arnav heard a voice from behind.. Both of them turned around to see a young girl dressed in a bikini she smiled at Arnav and Khushi had no idea what was happening but she did not have a good feeling about this girl.. Arnav smirked back and this indicated he knew her too

Arnav: Sheetal Khanna (he smirked back)

Sheetal: Arnav long time no see (she said in a happy tone)

Then she hugged him and this just got more serious.. Khushi was now getting more irritated with her... Arnav hugged her back and then. She said

Sheetal: Arnav how come your in Hawaii for work or holiday

Arnav: I have settled here in Hawaii, But what about you(he explained and Khushi silently watched)

Sheetal: Oh thats nice.. I am here on holiday you know.... By the way all the girls in Hawaii are lucky now that Inidia's most eligible bachelor is here...

She smiled as she looped her arms around Arnav didn't react. But that was it for Khushi she had enough of this witch dropping herself on her Arnavji... She decided it was now time to intervene

Khushi: Miss who told you he was a bachelor (she asked in a sweet but taunting voice)

Sheetal looked at Khsuhi with an irritated look and Arnav looked at her too. He could see the fire burn within her... He kept quite but a small smirk came on his face

Sheetal: (asked irritated) And who are you ??

Khsuhi: (smiled) Actually I should be asking you that question who are you ?? (she questioned Sheetal) and how do you know Arnavji

Sheetal :(looked at Arnav and then asked) Arnav who is this girl... Dont tell me she is one of those girls who hang around you for attention... (she taunted Khsuhi)

This angered Khushi even more... Arnav intervened

Arnav: Sheetal this is....

Khsuhi looped her arms around Arnav and then said in her sweetest possible voice

Khushi: Actually I should be asking Arnavji that question... Arnavji is she one of those girls who hang around you for attention (she taunted Sheetal back)

Sheetal: You have got to be joking I am Arnav's girl friend (she said angry)

Arnav: Ex girl friend (he reminded her)

Khsuhi: (raising her eye brows ASR style she said with a smile) Arnavji you didn't tell your ex girlfriend that I am your wife (she smirked at Sheetal trumping her completely, looking down at her baby she said) Haww see baby Daddy didn't tell her about us

Sheetal was shocked to hear that Khushi was his wife she did not expect this to happen she thought Khushi was some girl who was just around ASR as always but this wife thing was a twist. what was even more shocking was that she was pregnant .. Arnav on the other hand looked at his better half he could see anger jealousy all over her face and he seemed to enjoy it more... The way she trumped Sheetal was amazing only Mrs ASR could do that... He thought... The way she claimed him to be her husband.. There was silence in the air and then Khsuhi said in a more taunting voice

Khsuhi: Arnavji didn't you send an invite for our wedding to Sheetalji... May be it must have gotten missed in the mail thats why she didn't know (she said smirking)

Sheetal: Yeah maybe (she said irritated then she said) Arnav i need to leave some friends of mine are waiting for me... But congratulations for the baby...

Khsuhi: (possessively held on to Arnav) Thank you Sheetalji

Sheetal walked off from there irritated and Khushi walked the other direction angry and Arnav chuckled his ass off... He had never seen the bitchy and possessive side to Khushi ever before he seemed to enjoy it...He was happy she trumped sheetal like that... He never really liked her much...  He had a small plan in his head to trouble her a bit more.... 

Chapter 15

It was late afternoon Arnav had asked the police commissioner to come to his house he didn't wan to leave Khushi home alone. Khushi was having a shower meanwhile they spoke about how to catch Shyam

Arnav: I want this man out our life. Officer do what u have to and catch him and have him deported right away. I am willing to shell out as much money as possible. I just want him to stay away from my family. (he said in a determined voice)

Office: ASR we understand we will do our best to solve this matter. Dont you worry. I have all the details about him and we will leave no stone unturned to search for him and keep him away from you and your wife. But till such time I suggest that you take your wife and move into a hotel or something because it would be better if you keep her safe from your end. Till we catch him. Your wife is pregnant and staying alone in a house like this is unsafe. If you are in a hotel or resort or something then u will be surrounded by people and we will provide you and your wife protection from the police

Arnav was touched when the officer called her his wife. He felt the warmth and the happiness but did not show it. He did agree with the officer on the hotel thing though this made sense. He thought that it would take things off Khushi's mind and she wont have to do all the house work. He needed her to relax and take care. SO he agreed. He officer left and Arnav booked an imperial suite at the 4 seasons Hawaii resort.

Khushi who was now all relaxed and chilled out was in the mood for some nice hot chocolate she came down and saw Arnav on the phone. He turned and smiled at her and then came towards her and asked

Arnav: Are you ok

Khushi: Yes I am, I just want some note chocolate

Arnav: (nodded and then said) Khsuhi after you drink your chocolate pack some clothes of yours and mine in a bag. We are going to stay at the 4 seasons in Hawaii

Khsuhi: (confused she asked)Why.. Arnavji is everything ok

Arnav: Yeah it is (he sighed and then said) Its just that I want to take a break for a bit and ur not well and stuff. I think this can be a change for both of us

Khsuhi: I am fine Arnavji dont worry I can manage

Arnav: I know u can (he said placing his hand on her shoulders holding her) Its just that i think that we can use a break, and i mean both of us. I have booked the imperial suite. Besides the baby could have a change as well. (he smirked)

Khsuhi: (chuckled) Your right it sure. Ok Arnav I will pack our clothes, (she smiled came up to his cheek and pecked it)

Arnav felt nice with her little gesture. He smiled at her and she smiled back and then they sat together and sipped on their coffee and chocolate.

It was around Sun down and Arnav and Khushi were ready to go. Arnav drove off and they reached the drive way of the Hawaii 4 seasons, It was a magnificent huge hotel. The manager welcomed them in and escorted them to the imperial ocean suit. As he opened the door to the room Khsuhi entered in and her eyes pooped out. It was huge and it looked beautiful. The suit was 2 rooms had a kitchen. It was almost like a house. She went out on the porch and was surprised she could get the whole view of the ocean and it looked lovely. Khushi was in heaven. Arnav thanked the manager and then went towards Khushi who had a huge spark in her eye. She smiled and said to him

Khushi: Arnavji this place is so beautiful

Arnav: (smirked) Yes it is and I am glad you like it

Khushi: Thank you so much Arnavji for bringing me here (she looked down at her baby and then spoke to it lovingly) its beautiful isn't it baby.

And it kicked. Her eyes widened and Arnav asked in a worried tone

Arnav: What happen is it ok

Khsuhi: It kicked

Arnav: What the!!

Khushi: Oho you and your what the!! Arnavji our baby just kicked (she took his hand and placed it on her belly and then said) Baby kick for daddy na

Arnav could slowly feel a touch on his hand. Little tinny foot impressions kicked Khushi's belly and he could feel his child. A smile came across his face and he looked down at the miracle. The baby kicked once more

Khushi: Arnavji the baby really likes you.. See thats why its kicking so much

Arnav: I love the baby too.

He bent down and kissed her belly. Khushi hugged him as he lay kisses on her belly. It was picture perfect the sun was setting down and the waves created a soothing voice. Arnav and Khsuhi were in
heaven 

Chapter 14

As they reached the hospital he went to the reception area asked for Khsuhi's gynecologist  Melenie, They rushed her into the clinic and Melene told Arnav

Melene: DOnt worry ASR I will check her

Arnav nodded and then she went in. He was scared as hell he wanted nothing to happen to the baby or her. Both of them were his life and he couldn't do with out either of them. He could feel his whole world crashing down coming to a stand still. Anger on his face and redness in his eyes he closed his fists and decided that he would hunt Shyam down and rear him to pieces. There is no way that he would let anything happen to Khsuhi. Arnav was all set but first he was worried he had to take care of Khsuhi and make sure the baby and she were just fine.

Melenie came out of the room and Arnav rushed to her with a bunch of questions

Arnav: How is she? Is she ok? How is the baby

Melenie: Calm down Arnav She is fine and so is the baby.But I would like to talk to you can you come to my office please

Arnav nodded and then followed her inside the office he sat down and Melenie began saying

Melenie: Its just that she is a bit stressed and worried and thats why this has happened. I would advice to keep her in a happy and healthy environment. She needs to feel safe and well kept. I am giving you a dietary plan for her. Its her 4 month now. There is going to be a lot of movement from the babies side. The baby will start to kick a little and because of the movement of the baby there are going to be a lot of changes in her.

Arnav: (raising his eye brow he asked) What kind of changes

Melenie: Hormonal ones... She is for one going to be more emotional. More dramatic. Her cravings will increase a lot. And most importantly and take this very seriously but she is going to be very sexually active. (she said with a straight face)

Arnav: (eyes widened) Sexually active

Melenie: She  is at this stage where she wants physical contact. Her inner desires are going to be swinging in and she is going to be going wild. (she paused and then said) ASR dont worry these things are normal during pregnancy. All you need to do is show her love and happiness.

Arnav nodded but the insides of him were still shaken. Imagining how he was going to handle a sexually active Khushi was turning the hell out of him. He could manage the drama and the emotional stuff but this sexual thing he was dead nervous for that.

Melenie fixed the next appointment with Arnav and handed him a dietary plan for  Khushi. She also told Arnav that she has injected Khsuhi with some medicines and that she would wake up within a while. Arnav decided to take Khsuhi home so she could be comfortable.

As he reached home he picked her up and placed her on the bed tucking her in and making her comfortable. He poured a glass of scotch and sat besides her sleeping figure. As he looked down at her he was smitten by her innocence and beauty. He played with the locks of hair thinking deeply on how he had to handle the situation from here on. There was no way that he would let Shyam near her or the baby. He had to get rid of Shyam completely once and for all. As for Khushi she was going to be hard to handle. He was not worried about the drama and the cravings. He was willing to circle the world to get her what she wanted as long as she was happy and fine. What worried him was those cravings for Sex. The very thought turned the man on like crazy. Remembering the night she lost her virginity and gave it to him. She was amazing that night. The way she matched up to his speed and lost control to him. He still remembered those extremely sensual moans that she left out. As he called on his name begging for more pleasure. Arnav was a real goner. If she was like that with out being pregnant imagine what she will be like now. Arnav drank another sip of his scotch to calm his nerves down.

After a littke while or so she woke up from her unconscious state. As she rubbed her eyes she looked to the right to see Arnav sitting next to her in deep thought. She slowly said his name

Khushi: Arnavji (she said softly)

Arnav was out of his trance as he heard his angel call out for him. He looked towards her. She was still lying down on the bed. Her eyes were open. He said to her

Arnav: Khushi are you ok

Khushi: (touching her head she said) I feel like a giant elephant is standing my head

Arnav: (smirked) Its a head ache

Khsuhi: what happened Arnavji how did I land up on bed (she tried to get up. He helped her up and put a pillow behind her back as a rest for her)

Arnav: Khushi you fainted

Khushi: (confused) How?? (it took her a second to recall and then she said) Shyamji where is her. He threatened to take me away. (she said sad) Arnavji I dont want to leave you and go anywhere (tears came out of her eyes and worry splashed on her face)

Arnav: (wiping her tears he calmed her down) Shhh Khushi dont worry I have taken care of it I promise (he took her into a protective hug) No one is taking you or the baby away from me. I wont let any one separate us dont worry (he gripped his arm tighter around her)

She rested her head on his chest feeling safe and protected. She only wanted him by her side. She sent out a silent pray to devi maya to ask her to protect the baby from Shyam's clutches. She had full faith in Arnav and knew that he would do anything to take care of her and the baby. Both of them just wanted to lay in each others arms and feel the magic away from the harsh and hard world. 

Chapter 13

Khushi: Shyamji ??

Shyam: Khushiji How are you (he asked her) Did that man try to hurt you (he touched her face)

Khushi: (removed his hand and said) Leave me

Shyam: Khushiji I am here to rescue you from that devil ASR...I am here to bring you back to your parents.. 

Khsuhi: Shyamji Leave me please I am happy over here with Arnavji Please let go (she said getting his hands off her)

Meanwhile Arnav had just finished his shower and was on his way down to Khushi when suddenly he saw the main door open he went towards there and saw Khushi with an unknown man. She was crying and that man looked familiar was that her ex fiancé he was sure of it. He stayed back to see what he was doing here and what he wanted. 

Shyam: How can you be happy with that man. He doesn't love you or the baby. But I will love you and I am willing to accept this child 

Khushi: Shyamji please understand I dont love you.. You may love me butI dont I am happy with Arnavji. I trust him and I am happy with him. I know he can go too any extent for the baby and me... He is a good man and I love him.. (she said directly)

Shyamji: Khushi You love him that man is not worth your love. He will not give you the happiness and warmth a husband can give you and the baby. He is refusing to marry you He does not love you... 

Khushi: I dont need the warmth of a husband all I need is him. All I want is him. I trust him and I want to be with him. I want him to father my baby I want him to be there for me and the baby... Shyamji understand something I belong completely to Arnavji. Even if he loves me or doesn't. My body My sole My life My baby we all belong to him for eternity (she yelled out in anger) 

And that was it for Arnav he saw the love of his life struggle while some imbecile tried to man handle her and take her away. The ASR in him roared to all glory. He came out and pulled Khushi behind him and stood in front of her. SHe was glad he was there to protect her. Shyam was shocked he thought Arnav had gone to work. 

Arnav: How dare you (he yelled)

Shyam: Arnav this is between me and her (he said angry) DOnt come in the middle 

Arnav: Khushi's problems are my problems and if she is not happy I have to intervene in it... 

Shyam: Men like you are good for nothing you all have money and think you can buy them off. Tell me what do you plan  to do with her when the baby is born. Your going to throw her away aren't you. \

Arnav: What I plan to do with her is none of your business. She is mine and that Baby is mine they belong to me. (he claimed them as his)

Inspite of so much happening Khsuhi was upset but when he claimed them as his she was the most happiest person it the world. She was happy that he accepted her as his. They may not be married but he considered her as his. That really brought a smile to her face. But Shyam on the other hand was upset and pissed off. He yelled back saying 

Mark my words Arnav I am coming to get her she can never be yours... Saying that he left from there in anger. Arnav turned around to Khushi but was in state off shock when he saw her. She was lying there unconscious on the porch. Arnav ran to her and picked her up he was worried nervous and scared. A heaviness inside him came up and he was uneasy seeing her like that. With out wasting any time grabbed the car keys, he picked her up in his arms and ran to hospital.

Chapter 12

Khushi was dead tired and needed some rest. They walked for long Arnav decided its time to go home so that she could sleep and also he had some mails to take care off. They went back home. Khushi decided to go for a warm shower so that she loosens up a bit. Arnav was on his laptop as always. When she came out of the shower she saw him looking at his screen angrily. She went up to him and asked him sweetly

Khushi: Arnavji is there a problem why do you look so upset (she said innocently)

Arnav: (looked up and asked confused) Huh

Khushi: Why are u upset did something happen

Arnav: Ahh no its some business stuff

Khushi: Ohk Arnavji can I help

Arnav: (rolling his eyes he said) Khushi its some business stuff ok You wont know anything

Khushi: (putting her hand on her hip she said) Excuse me but i can handle business... I am a halwai's daughter Arnavji when i was at Babuji shop i would single handily handle the preparation of sweets and the cash register ok. (she said cutely as she scrunched her eyes)

Arnav could swear how much he wanted to kiss her at this point she looked adorable. But then he smirked an idea came to his mind and he said to her in a husky voice

Arnav: (raising his eye brows he said) Ok so you can handle it

Khsuhi: Yes i can

Arnav: (taking her hand towards him he pulled her close and made her sit on his thigh and said) Thats the problem (he said pointing at the screen)

Khushi looked at the computer screen to see huge numbers some what like in a tabular format, She had no idea what they were. She got a bit nervous but then she looked at him back

Arnav: SO can you solve it

Khushi: (trying to show she is brave said) Yes I can... As soon as I figure out what these numbers are for... (she said scared)

Arnav: Hah see I told you can't understand it.... Khushi these things are beyond you

Khushi: Arnavji (she yelled) Explain to me what these numbers are and then I will show you how smart I am... (She looked down at their baby and said) Dont worry Baby we are going to win this...Your mother is also as smart as your dad (she smiled and patted her unborn child)

Arnav: (smirked she was really cute..She was adorable. But he decided to play along with it and so he pointed at the screen and said) See those set off numbers those are the number of pieces that we have to deliver... And that set of numbers are the styles that have to be completed

Khushi: Styles ??

Arnav: Yeah well we offer  varieties of styles of clothing... Some shirts some blouses some dresses

Khushi: Ohk  (Khushi looked at the she concentrated hard Arnav was really loosing control, then she said) Arnavji oh so there are so many styles these are the number of pieces and thats the delivery dates

Arnav: Yeah (he nodded his head)

Khushi: So whats the problem then

Arnav: Look at the dates genius... We can't deliver so many pieces in two days its took less we need at least a week... The workers are not willing to work so long

Khsuhi: Hmm I understand your right.. But we request the buyers for an extension

Arnav: We can and i will but if they dont listen we need an alternative

Khushi: we can request the workers na Arnavji if the buyers dont listen I am sure they will understand

Arnav: We tried but the union is saying no.. Akash can't handle the situation by himself

Khsuhi: Arnavji talk to othe workers politely and request them then they will listen

Arnav: Khsuhi this is work ok politeness doesn't work (he said irritated)

Khsuhi: Arnavji politeness and kindness will take you more places that arrogance (she said with a smile)

Arnav: What ever (he said rolling his eyes, then he said) Aren't you suppose to be sleeping.

Khushi: (putting her tongue out he said) Yeah but i am not sleepy..

Arnav: (picked her up and placed her on the bed, he tucked her in and then said) Go to bed

Khushi: (nodded) Dont worry Arnavji It will be all fine and if nothing I am always with you.... We will solve it together... I will stay up all night and stitch if u like (she smiled)

Arnav: (was quite touched with what he said he smiled softly and then said ) We will managed Khsuhi you dont worry.. You and the baby need rest

Khushi nodded and then shut her eyes falling instantly to sleep. He saw the little angel sleeping and his heart urged him to plant a soft kiss on her forehead. He looked down and the baby and placed his hand in it and said said softly

Arnav: (talking to his baby he said) Your mother is right Kindness will take you places and arrogance wont....

Saying that he left from the room with his phone and then called up Akash to set up a video conference with a large projector at the factory. He spoke to the workers and requested them kindly and to his surprise they agreed....

He went back to the room to see Khushi fast asleep he smiled and then got into his side of the bed.. pulling the sleeping figure close to him he placed a hand on her belly to comfort his baby and cuddled Khushi to keep her warm. He was satisfied and happy he slowly spoke to the sleeping figure and said

Arnav: Thank you

Saying that he too drifted away to sleep marking the night as a start to the future.Dawn broke into the sky and the birds began to chirp to glory waking Khsuhi up she rubbed her eyes and felt a weight on her stomach. She knew it was Arnav's hand he must want to communicate with the baby at night. She turned the other way and looked towards him. He looked so cute with messy hair and a calm look on his face. She could stay like this forever with him. In his warm tight little embrace. Everything was perfect. Arnav stifled a bit and opened his eyes gently to see Khsuh indirectly looking at him. He couldn't register what was happening but he could hear her say

Khsuhi: Arnavji are you ok ?? What happened ?? Did your problem get solved ?? Did the buyers listen?? What did the workers say ?? (she asked in one big huge breath)

Arnav: (confused he got up and held her shoulder and said) Calm down everything is fine... DOnt worry we handled it 

Khsuhi: (taking a breath she said) Oh thank god I was so worried.. Arnavji I am so happy it got solved but how did u solve it 

Arnav: (hesitating he said) We managed (he said vaguely)

Khsuhi: (She nodded her head but from inside she understood he took her advice.) Arnavji come I will make you breakfast, Why dont you go and freshen up 

Arnav: Where is Carlata she can make breakfast (he asked)

Khsuhi: She wanted the day off for today... I can manage dont worry.. I am pregnant not old (she said sarcastically)

He rolled his eyes and got off the bed and then went to the bathroom. In the mean time she went down to make his toast and orange juice ready just the way he likes it. She was in a rather good mood today morning everything was going fine. She was humming a little song when suddenly the door bell rang and she went to open it... And there he was she was shocked...
